Description
Joining the Quality Operations organization, the position will be responsible for the managing quality-related issues for North America products, AD Wilmington manufacturing and AD Chelmsford manufacturing. The quality issues are managed and resolved through a Corrective Action process using the 8D methodology and 6-sigma techniques with particular focus on Test Quality improvements. The position also provides Quality representation on NA-based new product teams.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage Quality Issues from identification to closure using the 8D methodology and 6-sigma techniques. This includes assembling and leading a team, typically consisting of Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Reliability, and Planning for root cause identification and corrective action implementation.
Provide verbal and written communication to Regional Customer Quality Engineers and customers on ongoing Customer issues and returns, including issue resolution status and plan.
Provide Test Quality support to North America based product groups.
Provide Quality support to the Wilmington Manufacturing organization including the Wafer Fab, Capping, and Trim/Probe operations.
Interface with North America (Wilmington, Chelmsford, Norwood, Greensboro) based Product Lines on quality issues, with particular emphasis on test coverage and test quality improvements, including implementation of Advanced Outlier Detection techniques (SBL, SYL, PAT, etc.).
Participate as the Quality representative on identified New Product Teams for North American-based Product Lines.
Qualifications
Educational
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical discipline.
Minimum of 6-8 years' related work experience.
Knowledge/ experience in:
Advanced Outlier Detection techniques.
o SPAT, DPAT, SBL, SYL, HVST, Good Die Bad Neighborhood, etc.
Six sigma problem solving methods (Green Belt, Black Belt preferred)
Design for Test (DFT) is a plus.
ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) experience is also a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
