Description:
Candidate will be the developer on a small team supporting the 24x7 traffic management center operations. Individual will be responsible for both coding and analysis; therefore, BA skills are also necessary.
Person will receive direction from project manager and senior technical peers, and work directly with the business operations team on requirements, testing, and delivery.
Technical on-call responsibilities are rotated among the team members. Candidate must have good business aptitude and excellent problem solving skills.
Required / Desired Skills
Recent hands-on application design and development experience as a programmer (Required 7 Years)
Java web application development (Required 7 Years)
Extensive JDK API experience (Required 7 Years)
Application server experience (in one or more of the following: Tomcat, Resin, Jetty or JBoss) (Required 7 Years)
Modern Web Standards (HMTL, CSS) (Required 7 Years)
Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills (Required 7 Years)
Excellent independent design, work and interaction with business group to understand efforts (Required 7 Years)
Good writing & communication skills For documentation & user training (Required 7 Years)
SQL (Required 7 Years)
Modern Web Standards (Javascript) (Required 7 Years)
