The PeopleSoft Infrastructure/Platform Analyst reports to the Platform Team Manager for UCPath and is responsible for managing project infrastructure activities related to UC System wide payroll deployment of UCPath using the new Oracle HR/Payroll modules and hosted at OMCS.
In addition to collaborating with core project team members, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical counterparts, the incumbent will manage and ensure all infrastructure services are functioning and operational. The incumbent will oversee all aspects of the infrastructure components needed to deliver the UCPath OMCS services to the UC Systems. This analyst must have a strong holistic view and experience managing large, complex enterprise ERP Systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, OBIE, Fusion systems). The incumbent will have hands-on management experience with troubleshooting of infrastructure and integration issues and ongoing enhancements
Technical skills utilized in this role:
PeopleSoft Infrastructure Support (5
years of experience required)
Windows - General support of OMCS Windows hosts (i.e. Terminal service connections, Cygwin, Security related to services, User or group permissions, Standards related ssh/sftp configuration)
Unix / Linux - SSH public/private key authentication; PGP encryption/decryption; SFTP directory structures; SFTP user registration and configuration; Firewall request and testing
Citrix - Support and maintain PS Application deployed to Citrix XenApp host(s).
Support of CA Certs (2-way SSL and Message Encryption) for SOA infrastructure
Weblogic, Tuxedo
Oracle Database Knowledge
Networking Experience
VMware/SAN experience
Excellent Troubleshooting Skills
Requirements:
Must have experience in broad-based IT Infrastructure like Networks, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Operating Systems, Databases, Application/web Servers, etc.
Strong understanding of batch processing, encryption protocols and file transfers.
Must have experience working with PeopleTools, Peoplesoft Interaction Hub and PeopleSoft HCM products.
Thorough understanding of PeopleSoft application architecture, system administration and application development methodologies
Experience in providing information for technical strategies, proof of concept documents and technical designs
Assist technical teams when troubleshooting performance and/or application issues that are relevant to infrastructure activity
Creating and maintaining thorough and complete technical documentation of the ERP Systems, architecture and environments
Excellent technical project management skills responsible to drive business discussion independently, provide status reports, presentations, and general communication related to any environment activities
Committed to work in a fast paced environment and ability to manage multiple concurrent work assignments
Expertise with PeopleTools 8.5X and system tools for monitoring, system administration testing, performance tuning, and debugging.
Strong experience and knowledge in relational database technologies and administration, preferably Oracle RDBMS.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
Strong presentation skills, including the ability to lead conversations and articulate complex plans to both leadership and technical teams.
Excellent analytical, design, and organizational skills, with strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
