My client, a leading global supplier of high performance coatings, adhesives and sealants, has
2 full time manufacturing employment opportunities for an HVAC MAINTENANCE MECHANIC AND INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC at their Adrian, Michigan, facility.

Incumbent will perform mechanical repairs to existing Plant equipment and structures.

HVAC Maintenance Mechanic
They are seeking a candidate with experience in manufacturing and plant maintenance with HVAC.
Must have 3-5 years hands on experience and/or be certified HVAC TECHNICIAN through trade school training program.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.

They are looking for dedicated employees who have the following
Qualifications:
Completed an accredited apprenticeship program or in the process of completing apprenticeship
Completed HVAC training in a manufacturing environment
Enrolled in HVAC training (school)
Able to work in elevated areas and confined spaces
Ability to read blue print drawings
Strong Communication and teamwork skills

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

5-7 years of hands on experience as a fully qualified and experienced journeyman in the primary mechanical craft in an industrial setting is preferred.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
My client will consider successful completion of trade school or equivalent in lieu of experience.
We are seeking candidates with multi-discipline mechanical, electrical skills and the ability to learn at an accelerated pace.

Candidates must: possess valid Michigan driver's license and forklift operation certificate or ability to operate one; be able to work in confined spaces, on elevated platforms, ladders, scaffolding and roofs; be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds; and be willing to work overtime.

Duties include, repair, modify and install equipment to maintain and operate the facility: inspects, adjusts, removes and replaces parts of facility equipment; performs pipe fitting, fabricating, carpentry, process controls work and other industrial maintenance work; performs general electrical work through the utilization of color coded wiring, diagrams and manufacturers information.
Perform all tasks associated with troubleshooting: investigation, diagnosis, quick fix and long term corrective action to equipment and facility problems.
Performs all tasks associated with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Accurately maintains records and reports as required.

Highly successful candidates have possessed these attributes/skills
Have Industrial /Manufacturing experience. Currently in manufacturing or that had worked in manufacturing before.
Completed an accredited apprenticeship program
Holds a journeyman's status as an industrial mechanic or at least experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance craft.
Experience with MIG, TIG and ARC welding
Plasma Cutting, Brazing and Soldering
Be able to demonstrate and read a micrometer

Qualified candidates will be required to successfully complete a pre-screening and maintenance assessment.
