Classification: Full time
Location: Axis, AL
Compensation: Pay will be commensurate with experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements
Must be knowledgeable with regards to; speeds, feeds and the use of high speed steel and carbide cutting applications
Must be competent in the use of precision measuring equipment
Basic machinist tools required, inside and outside micrometers, calipers and basic hand tools
Must be knowledgeable in setting up jobs and troubleshooting issues
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience
Must be competent in blueprint reading
Rigging experience with overhead lifting equipment is required
Must be willing to work second shift
Background in heavy industrial maintenance or large machining preferred
Job shop experience preferred
Qualified candidates will be a safety minded, drug free, and able to maintain an excellent attendance record
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
