Job Title: SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Qualifications:
Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching Certificate with endorsements in EI,ASD, CI or LD.
Must meet the Elementary and Secondary Education/No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 - Highly Qualified.
Preferably Two (2) years teaching experience.
Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning preferred.
Responsibilities:
Determine Instructional needs of students based on IEP assessment data and district curriculum.
Provide direct and/or supplimental instruction to students.
Ability to modify and design curriculum content to meet the needs of students on a certificate of completion track.
Ability to evaluate students current levels of academic performance using district standard for Special Education Testing and assessment data of progress towards IEP goals and the curriculum.
Serve/participate on Multi-Disciplinary Team.
Ability to manage student behavior to maximize engagement in learning.
Ability to apply knowledge of Co-teaching and PBIS best practices to meet student needs.
Monitor progress and accommodate curriculum to support academic achievement.
Ability to coordinate with general education teachers, parents, and building staff to facilitate student progress and growth.
Ability to facilitate parent meetings such as parent teacher conferences and IEP's.
Ability to effectively communicate with students and parents regarding students' goals and progress.
Ability to coordinate and plan classroom activities with general education staff to meet curriculum expectations and IEP goals.

Job Title: SPECIAL EDUCATION RESOURCE ROOM TEACHER
Job
Summary: The resource room teacher will provide direct individual and group instruction to eligible special education students in one or more schools. The resource room teacher will work directly with general education teachers to ensure that special education student's Individualized Education Plans (IEP's) are implemented and that accoummodations and modifications are in place so that special education students can access the general education curriculum in the general education setting. The resource room teacher will participate in Student Support Team meetings as required.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include but not be limited to):
Provide direct remediation to eligible students in small groups or individually.
Consult with and provide support to classroom teachers to ensure implementation of the IEP, accommodations, modifications and supports in the general education setting.
Creat and maintain a schedule.
Participate in Student Support Team meetings as required.
Schedule and facilitate IEP's.
Participate in trainings related to special education forms, guidelines, etc.
Adhere to federal, state and WCRESA special education rules and guidelines as applicable.
Develope and implement behavior plans for students.
Work effectively with students in all areas of eligibility.
Provide formal and/or informal assessment of a student's academic status and learning needs.
Responsible for district-wide evaluations.
Be able to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the supports provided by the special education department.
MINIMAL
Qualifications:
BA or BS; MA preferred.
Valid Michigan teaching certificate with endorsement in at least one area of special education LD, EI or ASD preferred.
Two (2) years teaching experience with at least one year in special education preferred.
Experience in working with students in groups and individually.
Competency in the administration and interpretation of academic ability and achievement assessments.
Ability to clearly communicate assessment results and IEP's, in written and oral form, to parents and professionals.
Ability to cooperatively participate in Student Support Teams, evaluations, and IEP's.
Ability to complete and maintain required records, forms, and reports in a professional and timely manner.
Ability to be flexible, to work independently and to contibute as a member of a team.
Abililty to prioritize tasks, allocate time, and maintain schedule flexibility.
Ability to teach students the use of classroom technology.
Ability to develop, implement and evaluate behavior plans for use in general and special education settings.
Ability and desire to become an active member of a school staff through participation in committees and activities.
Reports to: Building Principal and Special Education Director
Compensation: Per Master Agreement

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
