This position is located in our Oconomowoc center.
Child & Family Centers of Excellence is a federally funded nonprofit organization based in Waukesha and serving families throughout the county.
As part of our Head Start team, your primary responsibilities will include:
Facilitating our comprehensive child development program for a classroom of 17 children (ages 3 to 5) along with an assistant teacher.
Establishing Compassionate Partnerships with parents of enrolled children through home visits, conferences, ongoing contacts and monthly family activities.
Supervising other classroom staff on your team.
This is a full-time, school-year position. We require a minimum of a bachelor's degree in early childhood education as well as a WI state teaching license. Successful candidate must possess great interpersonal skills, flexibility and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Fluency in Spanish is a valuable asset.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
