Qualifications:
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with endorsements in both Early Childhood (ZA or ZS) and an area of Special Education (ei, LD, CI, ASD)
Knowledge of child development/milestones and effective parenting techniques
Knowledge of local, state and federal special education laws/guidelines
Knowledge of various early childhood assessment tools and ability to administer them and interpret results
Ability to work in multidisciplinary model
Ability to act as a liaison with outside agencies
Ability to maintain detailed documentation
Ability to structure and organize time so as to meet required deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Development of materials to support instruction
Coordinate the childs successful transition into educational settings
Demonstrated ability to work with students of varying developmental levels
Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices for children age 3-6
Responsibilities:
Provide special instruction and supports to prepare children with disabilities ages 2 to 6, for school readiness and achieve IEP goals
Plan a program of activities that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of preschool children
Create an environment that is conducive to learning, engaging and is developmentally appropriate for preschool age children
Evaluate and re-evaluate children ages 2 to 6 for eligibility for special education services
Schedule and run IEPT meetings within mandated timelines
Develop measurable IEP goals and objectives based on student need
Progress monitor the accomplishments of the children on a regular basis and provide progress reports
Implement a variety of communication systems
Development of materials to support instruction
Effectively follow all procedures related to universal precautions
Plan and run parent meetings
Take the lead with early childhood multidisciplinary team to facilitate transition of students when they are leaving the program
Administer all required evaluations for students receiving services, e.g. entry and exit evaluations: record and submit all data within the mandated time lines
Regular and predictable attendance
Strive to maintain and improve professional competence
Comply with timelines, lows, and regulations as it relates to district, state, and federal policies and procedures
Collaborate with all service providers, general education teachers and other staff to support and provide documentation for the review of existing evaluation data.
Provide support to general education classroom teachers
Develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior support plans
Maintain consistent contact with parents
Participate in building level meetings as directed by the building principal
Participate in special education meetings as directed by the special education supervisor
Log and maintain monthly Medicaid reports
Other duties as assigned
Reports to: Special Education Director and Building Principal
Compensation: Per Master Agreement

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
