The strategy & corporate development analyst will be responsible for researching, evaluating, and modeling strategic organic and inorganic opportunities for seagate. This position will report into the strategy & corporate development organization and will work closely with a wide variety of corporate functional areas, including finance, accounting, legal, and initiative leaders. This individual will assist in all aspects of the strategic planning and corporate development process including sourcing and qualification of opportunities, market research, competitive analysis, due diligence, and deal execution. Employing strategic thinking and assessment of technology, in order to evaluate acquisition, investment, and partnering opportunities. Building out industry landscapes to proactively identify potential M&A and equity investment targets. Provide data driven recommendations to support strategic prioritization to meet corporate objectives.
Requirements
Experience in management consulting or investment banking or corporate finance/strategy is preferred. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to be highly productive and detail oriented with limited oversight on day-to-day basis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Sound technical skills with valuations, financial modeling, and analyses. Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong passion for technology industry.
Education
Undergraduate degree from top tier university, MBA required
