Work closely with company managers to define Systems requirements. Design, program, and document advanced functionality of Chassis, Backplanes, Subracks, and Vectorbords to extend and enhance existing systems to produce better product. Utilize Net technologies such as HTML, ASP.NET, C# & SQL Server to analyze user needs to determine software that will best serve those needs and develop/design computer system using that software. Using PCB software tool, to design and document all elements of a vectorbord technologies utilizing the appropriate software application library. Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Will import or access schematic data from the appropriate development engineering department for use in the design of a Vectors products. Gathers business requirements and develops conceptual design and technical design for Vector Electronics. Design, implement, and support software solutions. Using the appropriate software application, sends / transmits assembly data to manufacturing department for fabrication and assembly. Redesigns or revises existing Chassis and backplane designs. Help employees with their computer issues (hands on code development) to meet key business objectives. Design & update web pages with ASP.net and recognizes, identifies and documents potential areas where existing business processes require change, or where new processes need to be developed, and makes recommendations in these areas. Review proposals, gather facts, analyze data, and prepare a project synopsis which compares alternatives in terms of cost, time, availability of equipment and personnel while translating user requirements into overall solution architecture for complex technical solutions. Coordinate and link various computer systems within Vector Electronics to increase compatibility and sharing of information.
Required: Bachelors in Electronics /Electrical/ Computer Engineering /Computer Science or closely related field and 1 year experience in job offered or in related computer systems/applications developer occupationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
