Position
Summary: This position will help to coordinate operation and maintenance activities to ensure reliable plant power systems, mill rotating equipment and plant air systems. Analyze equipment needs, recommends equipment upgrades and develops ongoing preventative and predictive programs. Plan and manages downturns/outages as well as engineering programs and organizes staff according to project and plant requirements, while being responsible for all safety, quality, environmental, and cost management activities for department.

Ideally, you will possess a Bachelor degree in EE.

years of experience with high voltage substations and switchgear, DC Drives, rolling mill rotating equipment, power equipment electronics, rectifiers, electrical and/or electronic standards and compressed air systems.
Recommended that you have 5
years of experience supervising others
Strongly recommended that you have a strong commitment to safety
Should possess strong communication skills
Possess the ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and get things accomplished in a timely manner.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
