The Internet Sales Representative's job is to contact customers via telephone and email. Your conversation or email will consist of providing product knowledge, availability, pricing and answering any other questions with the goal of setting an appointment here at the dealership. We have an advanced customer relation management (CRM) computer software system that allows all clients to be tracked and tasks completed in an organized way.
Requirements:
At least 1-2 years in Customer service.
- Customer service sales skills, engaging phone personality, strong email skills.
- Auto-business experience preferred but not necessary
- Detail and goal-oriented, Fast Learner a must!
DUTIES
- Follow up with potential clients that inquire on a vehicle through our website and third party sites
- Follow up with prospective sales customers and return email / voicemails
- Support on-line customers by setting appointments
- Commit to becoming an expert, gain in-depth knowledge of General Motors vehicles & technology
- Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads
The actual Selling is completed by a General Motors certified sales consultant, not the BDC rep.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
