Travel Customer Service Representative
Location: Easton, Pa
Status: Full Time
Job Purpose: Responsible for setting up bus tours/ vacation requests and event planning. This includes transportation, hotel accommodations etc.
Job Duties:
Communicate effectively with outside sales representatives and customers to coordinate the necessary travel arrangements within deadlines, when applicable.
Maintain a basic understanding of how to make efficient travel and cost effective decisions.
Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Develops a basic understanding of how to sell travel memberships
Work closely with our travel vendors to book travel arrangements according to existing policies and procedures.
Works closely with outside sales representatives and customers to insure maximum efficiencies of financial resources guaranteeing the review of all possible travel options.
Coordinate arrival times to maximize rental car efficiencies.
Stay current with trip times, venue locations, and distance from airport in order to make cost efficient travel decisions.
Performs travel research and special projects as required by operations management preferred qualifications.
Travel experience required qualifications
Minimum of 2 years. experience in the travel business.
Strong telephone communication skills and interpersonal skills desired.
Basic knowledge of PC database, word, excel, and related software.
Salary is nonnegotiable

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
