Sr. Analyst, Quality Assurance (Arlington, VA) (multiple positions). Collaborate with team and business owners in the development and/or execution testing the software assets. Participate in the full systems life cycle with solution design, development, implementation, and product support using scrum methodologies. Maintain testing artifact repository and participate in testing of code in multiple environments. Develop software testing plans using known best practices with test driven development in an agile environment. Provide testing recommendations and assist in the testing and user acceptance of applications. Communicate the status and forecasting of projects to internal clients through a variety of methods including project status reports. Develop metrics for gauging success of enhancements. Define success criteria for each release schedule and maintain the metric to support performance measurements. Develop testing automation artifacts. Requires a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position working with systems/process integration in the healthcare industry; or in the alternative a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position working with systems/process integration in the healthcare industry. Experience must include two (2) years working with each: 1) HTML, XML, and Web Services; 2) multiple SDLCs for large high production impact systems; 3) writing complex SQL queries against multiple simultaneous databases; 4) testing SSRS reports; and 5) determining whether personal health information data adheres to HL7 standards and HIPAA regulations.
