Responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to overseeing productivity of staff, training and development as well as hiring and terminating. This is an extremely hands on position so the ideal individual will not just oversee the department and its staff but also remain heavily involved with the day to day operations of a Credit and Collections department. This will include determining risk and credit amounts that will be extended to new and existing customers. Additionally this individual will work very closely with collection agencies, Dunn and Bradstreet, attorneys and courts for accounts in financial distress or those who have filed bankruptcy. Must also have a strong understanding of reviewing financial statements for determining a customer's credit worthiness. Continuous communication with management and sales will also be necessary regarding changes and challenges with customers. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
