Our Half Moon Bay office offers a unique work environment and specializes in transmission and generation but is currently undergoing rapid growth and expanding into new business lines.
Your role will be to assist the office in leading proposal efforts and manage marketing and business development tasks. You should be able to manage multiple deadlines and keep teams on track to meet them.
What you will accomplish:
Collaborate and work closely with various proposal managers, office leaders, and business development team members to help carry forward the vision, structure, and content of individual proposals as they align with strategic business development activities. Assist with the creative conceptualization and design of high-quality proposals. Participate in Requests for Proposals, Requests for Qualifications, and other solicitations.
Experience and qualifications for success:
Minimum of Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related technical discipline (Degrees in other specialties are acceptable if relevance can be demonstrated)
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in proposal coordination, technical writing, or related experience required
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; preferably version 2010, and other software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite required; Experience with graphics software preferred
Experience working in Deltek Vision or comparable management information system a plus
Strong writing, proofreading, and formatting skills, both with formal written materials and with informal communications, such as email and social media postings
Technical background knowledge in environmental consulting or architecture/engineering preferred
