Seeking individual with experience underwriting commercial lines for habitational property, real estate, hotels and other similar classes.
Activities:
Own responsibility for growing a habitational property business.
Solicit, quote, and bind submissions according to authority levels and provide higher authority to junior team members.
Evaluate underwriting risks to determine appropriate and profitable pricing while retaining a competitive edge in the marketplace.
Review work submitted by brokers for accuracy, conduct visits to assigned wholesalers, and underwrite new and renewal business.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent and 5
years underwriting commercial property lines with experience in habitational classes.
Comprehensive benefits package with salary commensurate with experience, up to $130,000 with annual bonus. Matched 401(k) and tuition reimbursement for continued education. Generous PTO for personal and sick days, vacations and paid holidays.
