Objects On Net, Inc. in Fayetteville, GA is seeking experienced Application Systems Architects to analyze, develop and implement systems to improve business functions. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of computer science and management information systems, as well as experience working with standard occupational tools and technologies, to perform the following duties:
- Independently analyze systems and applications in order to improve existing business functions and workflows.
- Prepare functional design documents, use cases and data flow diagrams to depict current and future application design and data flow.
- Confer with Business Partners to identify requirements, scope work items and review change requests.
- Work closely with the Technical Lead to prepare estimates and delivery schedules.
- Develop plans, systems and procedures to achieve optimal efficiency.
- Collaborate with the development team on various project stages, from inception to roll-out of applications/modules/enhancements.
- Actively participate in development, integration testing, user acceptance testing, roll-out and post roll-out phases.
- Provide necessary support for functional and technical queries/concerns.
As assigned, perform other duties normal to the occupation.
This position does not supervise other personnel.
REQUIREMENTS: The normal minimum requirements for the Application Systems Architect position are as follows: Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a related IT field of study that provided the required knowledge and abilities, and three (3) years of related experience that provided the required skills and abilities.
In lieu of the stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a related IT field of study and five (5) years of related, progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience that provided the required skills and abilities.
In addition, this position requires demonstrable knowledge, experience and proficiency with the following:
(1) Operating systems including IBM AIX, SUN SOLARIS or Main Frame;
(2) Test driven development or Agile development methodologies;
(3) Frameworks including GWT, SPRING or STRUTS;
(4) J2EE development; and
(5) Tools such as Business Objects and Hyperion.
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements, and ability to perform job duties.
Additional Information:
Job Site: Fayetteville, GA.
Travel: No travel or telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of the project.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
