CAD Engineers II

SanDisk Corporation needs CAD Engineers II in Milpitas, California to support the Design teams with CAD related activities. Write code and scripts. Answer and resolve tool related questions and issues. Document processes in order to improve productivity. Participate in tool evaluation and benchmarking. Develop and maintain Design Automation point tools and utilities to enhance designer productivity and TAT. Support Design teams on a limited basis with circuit simulation and EDA tool execution. Responsible for documenting flows, methodologies, and FAQs. Provide coordination with UNIX IT team to address day-to-day computer infrastructure and related support issues.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field and 1 year of work experience in job offered or 1 year of work experience in a CAD Engineer-related occupation. Education or experience must include:
1. IC Physical, gate level, transistor level design technologies and simulation methodologies in digital, analog and mixed-signal domains;
2. IC Physical, gate level, transistor level verification methodologies and verification tools in digital, analog and mixed-signal domains;
3. Verification using latest verification methodologies like System Verilog, OVM, UVM.
4. Debugging in RTL, Gate level simulation;
5. Developing and supporting a fully automated scripts/flows using Perl, Python, Tcl/Tk, Skill, SPICE, C/C++, Makefile, and Shell scripts;
6. Using Perl, Python, Tcl/Tk, Skill, SPICE, C/C++, Makefile, Shell scripts in an IC design flow environment;
7. CMOS technologies and semiconductor devices; and,
8. Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
Experience may be gained concurrently.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
