Large privately held construction company in Southern Maryland seeks experienced Controller with substantial industry experience. This role will report directly to the CFO and support the senior management team. This role will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, job cost accounting financial systems, and assist with budgeting/forecasts.
Job
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and manage 15 staff
Manage payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and collections
Oversee financial systems including MS-Dynamics
Assist with annual/monthly forecasting and analysis
Manage job cost accounting and related reporting to project managers
Oversee Must have significant job cost accounting experience
Position
Qualifications:
BS-Accounting
CPA Certification preferred
10
years related experience as a senior level accounting professional
Must have 5
years' experience managing a staff of 10
accounting staff
Must have significant job cost accounting experience
Position requires excellent verbal and communications skills
MS-Dynamics software experience preferred or similar job cost construction software
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
