Job Description
The Business Implementation Manager will assist Beacon through working to ensure that services are correctly established and executed after a new health plan management or other client account contract is signed and by providing excellent customer service for new clients during the implementation period.
Responsibilities
1. Own an Implementation, project managing all aspects of contract start up
2. Interact externally as Beacon lead with new clients and internally with account management and departmental teams to facilitate contract implementation
3. Read and interpret contracts for an understand of client requirements
4. Gather, develop and document standard and custom business requirements in the implementation work plan
5. Create and monitor project deadlines both externally and internally
6. Have the ability to identify risks, opportunities and propose corrective actions associated with the implementation
7. Manage and direct Beacon's assets to ensure all tasks and deadlines are met on each project
8. Utilize strong contract interpretation skills to manage discussion on topics such as, but not limited to clinical models, operational workflows, IT solutions, provider network builds, data reports, protocol / SOP recommendation and other MBHO industry processes and procedures to ensure seamless contract implementation
9. Monitor project status using a variety of project management tools such as MS Excel and MS Project
10. Ensure that operational issues relating to the implementation are effectively managed, focusing on the project interface with department leaders and teams including routine interaction with client
11. Excellent organizational skills required to work on multiple projects / clients simultaneously
12. Effectively work with and manage Implementation Associate / Specialist resources, as assigned
13. Participates and leads effectively in a team environment
14. Facilitates both internal and external implementation meetings across departments
15. Adaptable to frequent change
16. Decision making with limited information in dynamic situations
17. Ability to motivate a team or individual to achieve desired outcomes without direct supervision required
18. Amazing attention to detail with equal focus on following up on outstanding items
19. Consistently meet deadlines
20. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in the Healthcare related field
3-5 years Technology experience and related management experience in multiple business and technical processes
High level of ability and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Team Foundation Server and Project
Travel 35%
