This position provides to care patients in accordance with the hospital policies and procedures and professional nursing practices, in compliance with the nurse practice act of North Carolina. The applicant maintains clinical and professional competencies as appropriate to the ages and needs of the patients served. Applicant assesses and plans for the care and needs of a variety of patients, initiates and delivers nursing care according to the established plan of care. This position communicates with patients, families, physicians, and team members regarding the care of the patients. The applicant assists patients and families to obtain knowledge about illness or disease process.
Requirements
This job requires current registered nurse license in the state of North Carolina. Basic life support for healthcare provider (BLS HCP) from AHA required. Applicant should have critical thinking skills, organizational skills, flexibility and supervisory and delegation skills preferred. Applicant works effectively in stressful situations is motivated and self directed preferred. Frequent walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling required. Must be able to lift and support moderately heavy weight in handling patients, medical equipment and supplies. Good finger dexterity. Exposure to blood borne pathogens, bacterial and viral hazards and occasional exposure to unpleasant patient odors.
Education
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.

The client is a nonprofit hospital network which operates hospitals, freestanding emergency departments, urgent care centers and medical practices.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
