The Packaging Engineer will be responsible for executing projects of varying complexity ranging from basic material changes to complex packaging systems and equipment platforms. Project management responsibilities include: defining scope of work, identifying resources required, developing project plans, establishing timelines, and managing internal and external resources. The Packaging Engineer will successfully collaborate with packaging suppliers, R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain to insure business alignment during development and drive technical excellence throughout the product launch.
B.S. Degree Packaging Science, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
3-5 years developing primary packaging solutions
3-5 years Consumer packaged goods background
Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles for
the evaluation and optimization of packaging solutionsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
