Lead .NET Developer

Utilize advanced theoretical knowledge of computer science and engineering concepts to assist Project Manager with the development and execution of multi-tiered .NET web applications on windows client and server operating systems. Job duties include the following:
- Apply advanced knowledge of, and experience with, .NET web-based technologies and tools, including C#.NET, .NET Framework (4.0, 3.5, 3.0 and 2.0), ADO.NET, ASP.NET and Visual Basic.NET to coordinate and monitor the design, development, testing, and support of .NET web-based applications.
- Upon consultation with Project Manager, lead and monitor the modification of existing .NET based web application software to correct errors or improve performance and to develop software system testing, validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Coordinate communications with systems analysts, engineers, programmer analysts and others to design windows .NET applications and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
- Communicate with clients about desired software system design and maintenance.
- Coordinate and monitor software system installation to ensure specifications are met.
- Analyze and evaluate information (with Project Manager) regarding factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine software configuration.
May perform other duties normally associated with this occupation.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or related major that provided the skills, knowledge and abilities required and one year of experience in the job offered or in a related position that provided the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
In addition, the position requires demonstrable experience and proficiency in the following:
1. Agile/Scrum project development methodologies.
2. Oracle 10g.
3. Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2005/2000.
4. .NET Framework 4.0, 3.5, 3.0 and 2.0.
5. C#.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net and Visual Basic.Net.
6. Microsoft Visual Studio 2013.
7. Jira.
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.

No travel or telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of the project.
