Industry leading provider of custom optical thin film coating solutions seeking individual with experience in Thin Film Vacuum or Physical Vapor Deposition coatings for semiconductor wafers or optical products.
Activities:
Perform regular maintenance of optical coating chambers and lead preparation of chambers before coating runs.
Prepare vacuum chambers and tooling before operating machinery during coating activities.
Clean substrates using hand or ultrasonic methods prior to loading into chamber.
Measure optical thin film coatings using spectrophotometers and other metrology equipment.
Experience & Education:
Associates degree and 3
years relevant experience in a production environment working in the optical coating industry.
Knowledge of Thin Film Deposition systems and similar coating equipment.
Experience setting up, maintaining, repairing and running vacuum chambers for thin film or physical vapor deposition.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and perform troubleshooting for machinery and electrical systems.
Experience with Vis, UV, DUV or IR spectrums.
