Blackstone Technology Group's Federal Practice is hiring a
PM Analyst Management Consultant
in the DC Area.
This role will act as the primary customer contact on federal technology initiatives, responsible for supporting the direction, architecture, and process of technical environments, development, and rollout for the client.
Responsibilities:
Provide Business Case Support to include coordination and outreach to project and program offices.
Works with federal and team stakeholders to establish an architecture, plan, and deployment strategy.
Provides expertise and creates deliverables in support of a service owner team responsible for creating a technical solutions for the federal government. They will interface with stakeholders in order to support new customers, maintenance of existing systems, and enhancement of existing systems.
Coordinate with program offices to prepare OMB Exhibits 330/53s for IT initiatives.
Assist projects with project planning, alternative analysis, cost-benefit analysis, risk management, system architecture, security and privacy, acquisition strategy, performance measurement baseline and full life cycle requirements
Generates the work products, establish, and maintain standards for these work products.
Participate and guide the program offices in discussions and make recommendations to strengthen project and program IT portfolio business cases.
Establishes procedures and deliverable quality standards for the team so that deliverables are accurately and consistently captured and documented.
Works with customer teams to identify service enhancement requirements.
Helps define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced
Responsible for performing studies, analyses, and evaluations related to business requirements, such as requirements analyses, feasibility studies, and cost/benefit analyses.
Serves as the technical lead for the task.
Conducts trade-off analyses on business and technical requirements.
Has a working understanding of the applicable programming languages, operating systems, virtual environment structure, and databases that will be used on projects and programs.
Develops and oversees development of manuals and other documentation for information systems.
May oversee work of Analysts on other specific tasks.
Manages interactions and support of multiple client, vendor, and customer teams

Demonstrates very good written and oral presentation skills and outstanding client-interaction skills.
Thinks creatively and demonstrate the ability to work independently on a complex task with little direction, supervision, and management oversight. The incumbent should be highly motivated, a self-starter, and able to work alone or in groups.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the design and architecture of complex information systems and the ability to communicate operational use of those systems to others.
Demonstrates ability to support and assess technical requirements, and translate those needs into an actionable environment architecture, business and technical process.
Demonstrates ability to interact comfortably with Senior Leadership and/or Government Executives and staff on a day-to-day basis.
Demonstrates ability to manage multiple independent threads of work and interaction simultaneously.
Demonstrates ability to manage complex, detailed processes and procedures, and the ability to translate details into actionable, understandable tasks for self and others.
Experience conducting budgetary or investment planning for IT investments.
Experience with customer facing activity, business customer interviews, facilitating, and presenting at meetings.
Excellent Technical writing skills (MS Word).
Excellent communication, Presentation creation and delivery skills (MS PowerPoint).
Demonstrated Critical thinking and analysis capability.
Demonstrates work experience in critical analysis support within an IT organization.
Solid and detailed understanding of IT and CPIC regulations and its legislative drivers (Clinger Cohen Act,A-11, A-94, A-130).
Minimum
Qualifications:
BA/BS, preferably in management or a related technical subject area (
Management, Business, Accounting, Finance Economics,
Technical, Analysis, Mathematics
or related discipline
)
Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government
Minimum 3 Years of Experience with at least 1 year of team and technical leadership and at least 1 year of client facing communications and management. Additionally must have at least 2 years of experience supporting technical strategy, planning, and environments.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
