Day to day ownership of the customer vendor managed inventory system and customer on time delivery ratings. Responsible for ensuring that cum balances are current and match supplier to customer daily. Point person for all customer account communication to the internal commercial, supply chain and logistic department. Ensure that all technical specification documentation is current and being observed. Ensure the development of new procedure and enforcement of current procedure. Strategic liaison with others in supply chain department, daily interacting with scheduling, purchasing, demand planning and logistics. Work with division commercial sales team and quoting team. Point person be self directed majority of each day looking for candidate who embraces account ownership. Responsible to train back up for off shift and holiday coverage. Other duties as assigned by director of supply chain and customer service team lead vendor managed inventory.
Job Requirements
2 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment customer service experience preferred. Must have previous automotive experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem solving skills. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Excellent computer skills.
Education
Associates degree in business administration or related field preferred
