The Corporate Compliance Paralegal will manage the day to day legal and compliance-related matters, working with senior executives and compliance officials across all departments and offices of the company. In this role the Paralegal will gain exposure to working with multi-dealer broker contracts, customer, service and vendor contracts, dealing with various domestic and international regulatory entities, general corporate matters and special projects.
Duties include corporate governance and maintenance; preparing and finalizing contracts and contract administration; maintaining corporate records; assist with editing and preparation of vendor agreements; coordinate support for the boards of directors across multiple group companies, including preparing board materials and drafting resolutions and consents; support corporate transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, closing materials and post-closing administration.

year of experience on corporate transactional and contract related matters. Undergraduate degree is strongly preferred.
Salary up to 100K depending on experience. Top benefit package including fully paid health insurance and matching 401K.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
