As the leader of the Midwest practice you will:
Set the strategy for the region
Lead and develop staff
Drive financial performance
Develop business and client relationships

The revenues, number of employees, and geographic distribution of the Midwest practice require that a successful candidate possess a proven track record of developing new business and growing market share significantly, an ability to develop and lead people within all levels and locations of the organization, and the operational skills to manage projects and programs while mentoring others to do the same.
Experience and qualifications for success:
Masters degree or above in a field related to the environmental services that SWCA generally provides, including the disciplines of biology, archaeology, anthropology, planning, environmental regulatory compliance, GIS, water resources, and other environmental and planning fields and/or a Masters degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on strategic planning and management. Individuals with a Bachelors degree and demonstrated equivalent experience will also be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience providing environmental consulting services and/or management of professional services, with increasing responsibility over time, including leadership of others and management level accountability for a professional services business unit or program.
Outstanding management and leadership skills focused on growing market share
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal staff as well as clients.
Ability to oversee proposal and marketing coordination and management of key proposal and marketing efforts.
Ability to travel as needed.
