The Judge Group is seeking a degreed Quality Assurance Manager in Georgia. The qualified individual will monitor food safety and quality functions throughout the company and remain current with all relevant standards. The QA Manager will lead the quality department and ensure that employees and products are maintained and meet all quality specifications.

Requirements:
Maintains quality production and runs damage control for any products with related issues
Demonstrates credible knowledge of quality equipment and standards and production equipment
Maintains effective and efficient quality control systems
Understands and upholds HACCP, USDA and FDA regulations and standards
Inspects finished products and follows up on investigations and issues
Performs and plans simulated recalls twice a year and resolves any problems that arise
Analyzes lab test results and distributes that information to relevant departments
Orchestrates both external and internal audits and creates actions plans based on the results
Creates reports for all processes and products that are not functioning correctly
Monitors processes and reports solutions to nonconformities
Demonstrates knowledge of food science programs and processes
Reviews documentation of inspections and programs

Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance or related field
3
years of experience in a manufacturing and food related environment
Strong leadership skills
SQF II Practitioner
MUST have beef jerky experience
Excellent organizing, planning and problem solving skills
Knowledge of HACCP, FDA and USDA programs
