Lumenance is searching for motivated IT Infrastructure Project Manager. This candidate will be responsible for all phases of a project from initial definition and business analysis to final implementation and ongoing support handoff. The candidate will be responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility technology projects that cross multiple IT Departments and Business Divisions, and will be expected to use a high level of knowledge and experience in waterfall project management principles and practices to fit large, complex, enterprise-level projects, providing the appropriate level of planning and the right balance of speed, agility, and predictability. The candidate must be capable of contributing to a fast paced, project development environment in the automotive industry.
These positions are in Central Ohio, USA. Lumenance will help procure the necessary U.S. work visas for qualified candidates from Mexico and Canada.
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Project Planning and Management - 5
years of experience as a Project Manager implementing IT infrastructure projects, utilizing proven project management methodologies to successfully implement large, complex projects in a high-tech environment with multi-function teams.
Process Management and Improvement - Solid understanding of infrastructure components as well as expert knowledge of project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
Team Management / Team building - Experience overseeing multi-function project teams ranging from 2 -10 team members including Subject Matter Experts, Developers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure
Business Analysis / Critical Thinking & Problem Solving - Balanced technical/business background:
o Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to teams, and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
o Ability to act as and/or provide guidance to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
SKILLS REQUIRED:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required
Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
Proven ability to lead technology projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels
Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view.
PMP, ITILv3 certifications, a plus.
