Standard functions of Instructional Coordinator for school catering to international students studying law and business. Advise prospective students regarding admissions policies. Advise students on: academic and vocational curriculum; career issues; student visa compliance (e.g. OPT, CPT, STEM, on campus employment). Coordinate preparation and presentation of the pre-arrival information, orientation for international students. Create a welcoming and supporting environment for international students. Implement activities and programs for international students to facilitate their integration into the University community. Collaborate with other campus offices to meet the ongoing curricular needs of current international students. Facilitate international students' academic success by assuring their knowledge and understanding of University policies, guidelines and deadlines. Organize production and design of curriculum materials. Conduct and participate in workshops, committees, and conferences designed to promote the intellectual, social, and physical welfare of international students studying law and business. Review and evaluate forms, requests and related inquires in order to issue the appropriate documents for matriculating international students. Advise teaching and administrative staff in curriculum development for law and business courses, use of materials. Advise on implementation of state and federal programs and procedures. Interpret and enforce provisions of state education codes, and rules and regulations of state education boards.
Requires a Master's Degree in Communication Studies

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
