Tasks and Responsibilities
Analyzes various design requirements and recommends possible solutions or alternate constructions. Also prepares and evaluates tolerance stack-ups.
Work closely with engineering and manufacturing personnel as well as outside vendors. Support inside/outside sales and distributors.
Provides information when required for cost estimating. Secures quotations and expedite materials and delivery. Assists in the follow-up of prototype construction with outside vendors.
Support development, implementation, and maintenance of EMS.
Adhere to all policies, procedures, and/or requirements set forth in AKGTS ISO 14001:2004 environmental system or EMS.
Job Qualifications and Requirement
The ideal candidate will have a technical degree and 3
years technical experience as a Design Engineer, Product Engineer or Designer using CAD in an engineering environment. SolidWorks a plus.
Energetic, fast learner, with willingness to tackle a wide range of responsibilities.
Must be well organized and able to function efficiently in multi-tasking situations.
Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work independently.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
