Scope of Position: Supporting Engineering department with drawings, documents and database management.
Day to Day
Responsibilities:
Producing technical documentation
Publishing troubleshooting guides
Generating CAD drawings of existing equipment or equipment modifications
Preparing experiment documentation and executing experiments
Preparing and completing engineering change orders
Administering the engineering document system
Travel Requirements: none
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: M-F; 8am - 5pm
Required Education: HS diploma or GED
Required Years and Area of
Experience: 5-8 years with HS degree; less experience needed based on advanced education
Required Skills:
CAD
Microsoft office suite
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Technical writing experience
Familiarity with document control systems
Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership):
Excellent written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
