JOB SCOPE
Performs all operations on forging machines. In training for Forge Operator and is expected to progress to II level.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review shop order packet for procedural instructions.
Perform and assists own setups.
Check dimensions of parts and holds tolerance of plus or minus .001.
Use of most types of inspection gages.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
High School diploma or GED
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
Preferred
High School diploma or GED
1-3 Years directly related experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
