Description:
NOTE: This is a part-time contract with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Project Overview:
A Sr. Project Manager is needed to help mentor and implement Agile methodologies. Work will be split into backlogs and will be managed through an agile framework. This Mentor will be part of a team that will help identify, prioritize, document, report, and implement solutions on these backlogs. This Mentor will also be instrumental in converting the Group to a lean/kanban/scrum methodology.
Roles:
Assess current processes and develop training plans accordingly for organizational improvement.
Measure results and effectiveness of implemented improvements.
Coach on all levels of comfort and knowledge with agile and scrum.
Collaborate with organizational leaders to plan and implement best practices.
Works with product owners, customer-facing project managers, and executive sponsors to align product development, and delivery.
Assist and support Scrum teams in resolving conflicts through training, education, and influence.
Encourage, and promote Agile transformation and organizational change.
Increase team member job satisfaction, positive evolution of team cultures, and sustainable pace of development.
Will actively work with all areas of the client's organization to help transform teams and individuals to become self-organized and self-sustaining.
Assist in fostering agile adoption throughout an organization through workshops, training, and one-on-one meetings.
