The primary purpose of the Clinical Trainer is to train both clinical and non-clinical staff to use the companys clinical systems including, but not limited to, the electronic health record (EHR), ADL documentation system, and regulatory (MDS) data submission systems.
KEY JOB DUTIES:
Train staff and care providers to use clinical and administrative modules of companys EHR, ADL documentation system, and regulatory (MDS) data submission systems.
Support project go-lives with 1-on-1, small group and large group trainings.
Facilitate understanding of both clinical and technical processes using language and terms appropriate for the audience.
Identify users who may need extra help and guidance and ensure proper follow-up.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant systems including latest updates and upcoming developments.
Job Requirements
Must possess a degree in Nursing.

years operational experience in clinical care environments.
Demonstrated training/teaching experience.
Experience working closely with nurses, physicians and other clinical practitioners.
Participation in software projects in a clinical setting a plus.
Experience managing resistance and refocusing staff on short and long term benefits of an application.
Strong use of common business software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
80-100% travel required to both local and regional destinations.
Comfortable training in different venues including conference calls, webinars, live classroom and on nursing units.
Ability to work staggered hours including some early mornings and late nights to meet training needs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
