LIS Solutions has been awarded a 5 year sole vendor contract to perform interpretation services for the Social Security Administration ODAR offices.
What, Who & Where:
We are looking for interpreters that have performed work for a minimum of 3 years of paid experience servicing legal and medical clients. We are currently recruiting for All languages; however the majority of the work expected will involve Spanish services. We are currently accepting applications from all interpreters regardless of location that reside within US territory including Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands and American Samoa.
Job Description: What would you be doing?
Agrees to comply with SSAs disclosure/confidentiality.
Agrees to provide an exact language interpretation of the responses from claimant, claimant representative, other SSA contract personnel and/or SSA personnel; i.e. not to assume or infer facts or dates not actually provided by these individuals.
Demonstrates familiarity with basic terminology used in hearings.
Has no personal stake either financially, organizationally or otherwise in the outcome that would be contrary to the interests of the claimant and/or benefit the claimants representative. The claimant in this case is the member of the public contacting SSA to do business or anyone serving as a representative for this claimant.
Minimum Requirements:
Category I (Spanish): All Category I Spanish interpreters must be certified court interpreters, certified medical interpreters or interpreters with a minimum of three years paid professional experience in a courtroom setting as an interpreter within the last six years. Paid professional experience is defined as providing interpreter services on a full-time or part-time basis in a professional capacity for the purpose of gainful employment.
Category II (Other Languages): All Category II interpreters must have at least one year paid professional experience interpreting in a courtroom setting or three years of paid professional experience as an interpreter.
Be able to obtain and maintain a SSA security clearance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
