The Lincolnshire Marriott Resort, located at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 is currently hiring a Usher.
Responsibilities include: Greet patrons attending theater shows. Collect admission tickets from patrons at theater shows. Hand out Stagebills to patrons entering the theater. Assist patrons in finding seats, lighting the way with flashlights if necessary. Settle seating disputes and help resolve other customer concerns. Provide assistance to patrons with special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs, walkers, and hearing devices. Direct patrons to restrooms, concession stands, and telephones. Maintain appearance of theater and lobby areas by picking up and cleaning as needed. Guide patrons to exits, maintain order, and provide instructions or assistance during emergencies. Escort customers in and out of theater. Keep aisles clear during performances to maintain safety of customers and actors. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Serve as a departmental role model or mentor by working alongside employees to perform technical or functional job duties. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
