Description:
The Kennett Area YMCA Sports Coordinator position is a Full-time hourly, 40 hour per week, Coordinator position. Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, the Sports Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, delivering and evaluating all youth sports programming, adult sports, specialty sports camps, skate park and adventure tower. This position will supervise Sports/Skate Park/Adventure tower staff. Candidates must have proven skills in staff leadership and supervision, youth development, and relationship building. Other qualifications include strong organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication. Given the nature of the Sports Coordinator responsibilities, coverage will require afternoon, some evening, and weekend work hours.
Education/Experience Requirements:
2 years of related experience required. College degree preferred.
