Very successful privately held construction company seeks Payroll Staff Accountant to oversee corporate payroll operations. This position will be responsible for processing payroll for 300
employees, tax filings and related payroll/HR activities. This accounting role is highly visible and will report directly to the CFO internally. Great opportunity to join a growing and stable construction company.
Principal Job
Responsibilities:
Process payroll for 300
employees on a weekly basis
Oversee and process appropriate payroll tax filings
Responsible for overseeing other payroll/HR related issues including garnishments, insurance, etc.
Reconcile payroll related G/L accounts
Job
Qualifications:
BS-Accounting, Finance or related preferred
Must have 2-3 years full cycle in-house payroll operations experience
Must have 2
years Timberline/Sage software experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
