TITLE: QA Engineer
The QA Engineer will perform functional testing of websites, and various applications; as well as the email QA (clicking links, confirming tracking data, etc.) You will be required to write and execute test plans and test cases.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILIES:
Review key aspects of the email design, build and deployment processes to ensure optimal quality, including Email construction and coding using a combination of manual and automated review processes
Prioritize and manage multiple, concurrent projects effectively & accurately
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Plan and develop test plan and test cases
Verify requirements thru execution of test cases on multiple platforms including email, web sites, Facebook applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
BA/BS in Computer Science, English, Journalism, or related field; or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency
1-3 years' experience performing data entry, executing test scripts and processes, or writing test plans
Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and customer deadlines with minimal oversight
Working knowledge of database concepts and SQL
Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving skills with an impeccable eye for detail
Good understanding of latest trends in processes efficiencies and methodologies
Deep knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of HTML or email coding best practices
