Senior Customer Quality Engineers
SanDisk Corporation needs Senior Customer Quality Engineers in Milpitas, California to be responsible for overall quality for Sold State Drives (SSD) including LRR/VLRR, DOA, Warranty, and Quality issue handling at customer sites. Interface with customers and work closely with their SQE team. Responsible for communicating customer issues to the internal engineering and manufacturing teams and driving quality and reliability related improvement activities. Responsible for preparing weekly quality data and attending the weekly quality review meeting with customers, as well as representing the company at business reviews (quarterly) as the primary quality representative of the company.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field and 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a Quality Engineer -related occupation. Education or experience must include:
1. Quality concepts and fault isolation analysis tools such as FMEA, APQP, SPC, SBL;
2. Cleanroom fabrication and characterization of MOSFET devices which form the foundational base of NAND/NOR Flash technology;
3. Risk assessment and statistical data analysis to help isolate root cause;
4. Address quality incidents with clients;
5. Memory architecture and its use in applications;
6.Root cause analysis including bench testing, curve tracer, micro probing, and automated scripts/testers to test basic functionality of returned devices from customers;
7. Semiconductor fabrication, assembly and test process flows;
8. Quality methodologies including 3x5 Why and fishbone analysis to address Quality excursions; and
9. Collaborating with product engineering teams to facilitate new product qualification and incorporate Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
Experience may be gained concurrently. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States and abroad.
