Job Duties: Plan, design, implement, and provide operational support for EMC's complex Global Data Network services. Deliver solutions to bolster security of EMCs network by restricting the availability of network resources to endpoint devices that comply with a defined security policy and provide assistance to resolve network connectivity issues. Assist with capacity planning of the environment. Advise EMC architecture during technology assessments and perform internal required Proof of Concepts in the area of perimeter services and with a focus on performance monitoring.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable. In lieu of a degree, EMC will accept two years of experience in the IT field. In addition to the degree (or the alternate 2 years of IT experience), the position requires an additional five years of experience in all of the following: integrating and configuring network infrastructure with Network Access Controls and Security Group Tags; integrating Network Access Controls to Wireless Networks, VPN Networks, Active Directory, Database Technologies, Big Data Analytics, MDM/MAM Solutions, Radius AAA, Firewalls, and Web Filtering; integrating Private Key Infrastructure (PKI) of RSA Certificate Authority and Microsoft Certificate Authority for ROOT/Intermediate Certificates; programming SAP Business Intelligence; designing and deploying cloud solutions for VMware ESX, Cisco UCS, and EMC Storage designs (VCE); and, designing and implementing 802.1x Wired Networks, 802.11a/b/g, ac Wireless Networks and Wireless Access points using security EAP Methods LEAP/PEAP, WPA/WPA2, EAP (GTC, MSCHAPv2, TLS, and TTLS).
