Child Care Teacher
Do you love kids? Then join our dedicated Childcare Staff at our beautiful Childcare facility at the Lionville Community YMCA. Under the direction of the Senior Program Director for Youth Development, the successful candidate will provide safe, high quality childcare to each child in his/her class, contributing to a safe, nurturing environment and high quality program.
Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for assigned class or group. Perform specifically assigned duties - snack, clean-up, lunch, diapering (according to YMCA policies). Monitor group activities such as bathrooming, dressing for outdoors, swimming, circle time or arts and crafts.
The current opening is for Monday through Friday, 8:
00 AM-1:
00 PM
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Human Services or related field with 30 credit hours in ECE.
Must have ability to interact positively with children and communicate professionally with parents. Previous experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
