Satellite operations engineer will operate systems requiring technical knowledge of the software applications and data source processing aspects of the system. Applies near real-time technical problem solving skills. Monitors near real-time status of the system. Provides near real-time operational response to system alerts and changes in the system environment including system reconfiguration, data analysis, and data reporting. Performs and documents preliminary evaluation of system problems. Advises and assists in effecting design changes to improve operational efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations. Documents and maintains operational event logs and records. Utilizes technical training and/or equivalent technical experience to evaluate system performance and enhance system operation and data processing capabilities.
Requirements
Must have knowledge or experience performing satellite mission support or activities in a near real-time operations environment. Must pass all positional certification requirements within section standards and time lines. Will be required to attain and maintain multiple certifications. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to create, perform and sustain team cohesion within small team environment. Must be able to perform work in near real-time decision-making environment. Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure.
Education
Must have a BS degree in a related engineering field or possess a minimum of 8 years of equivalent experience in the field in lieu of a degree.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
