Collaboration Platform Engineer

Working with the platform architecture manage the BAU maintenance and infrastructure upgrade plans assessing impact, deciding timelines and ensuring all aspects are correctly managed to maintain platform compliance. Partners with the out of the box collaboration lead in leading the enterprise collaboration governance board. Understands technical aspects of the hardware and software within the collaboration platform. For business domains and large IT programs, coordinates the technical engineering disciplines to ensure a holistic design and all aspects of the potential solution are well integrated and functioning in harmony. Understands the roadmap and impact of the underlying technologies and advises on the roadmap of the platform level technology components. Understands and makes recommendations in support of document management/collaboration environments in external environment. Supports issue resolution with operations team and other platform engineering resources.
Requirements

years of experience working in IT. 2
of experience working in a shared service organization. Experience working in a regulated/controlled environment. Experience with ITIL service management practices preferred.
Education
Bachelor degree in computer science
