Our client, a life sciences technology company in the Lehigh Valley, is seeking a Director of Human Resources. The Director of Human Resources will have a diverse focus including culture and talent initiatives, change management, recruitment, leadership development and organizational effectiveness needs. This role will also lead complex employee relations investigations for the division and will be instrumental in building alignment and consistency across the global HR function. The ideal candidate has a graduate degree and 7 years of progressive HR business partner experience. This individual will have the opportunity to work from home several days a week.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide strong leadership and direction on a full range of HR services, including talent acquisition/development, performance management, compensation, organizational design and effectiveness
Identify solutions to strengthen the talent pool and develop leadership capabilities
Drive talent processes, including formal talent reviews, succession planning and development
Identify and monitor top talent
Identify key engagement drivers and develop the supporting strategies
Strong focus on change management and partnering closely with leaders to develop consistent strategies and tactics to help leaders who manage change
Develop and implement communication strategies
Drive strategic workforce planning initiatives
Regularly engage with HR colleagues globally and partner collaboratively on initiatives and projects
Understand core capabilities needed to drive business results, and translate into actionable developmental programs
Keep VP of HR and leadership team informed of any unusual employee situations (terminations, EEOC claims) in a timely manner
Use consulting skills to influence, coach and provide feedback to leaders at all levels

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree strongly preferred
Minimum of 7 years of progressive human resources business partner experience including organizational effectiveness/change management, learning & development, and talent
HR leadership experience with multi-locations, including a preference for international experience
Understands the key financial drivers and dynamics related to growth and revenue goals of an organization
Ability to influence culture and create alignment between business goals, behaviors, and compensation systems
Ability to build relationships and establish 'quick rapport with all levels of the organization Strong executive presence, excellent decision making skills and the ability to work with a high degree of discretion
Strong consultative style with proven experience supporting senior executives
Ability to influence and lead others
Strong project management and conflict resolution skills
Ability to deliver strong results with limited resources, under tight deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy
Experience working within fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural business environments Ability to travel as required by the needs of the businessEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
