Position: Estimator
Primary Duties & Expectations:
Tasks include providing accurate, comprehensive and competitive proposals for complex and technical remediation projects, field service projects and industrial services projects.
Prepare and submit construction reports such as work plans, submittals, health & safety plans etc.
Assemble quality / professional bid packages.
Must be able to read blueprints and perform quality blueprint takeoffs.
Proficient in calculating final quantities such as earthwork, backfill, tank volumes and trench/pipe lengths.
Attend bid / site walks.
Interpret bid documents.
Understand and interpret contract language.
Realize financial impact of profit & loss, margin and budgets.
Always work in the organizations best interest.
Have strong working knowledge of environmental clean up practices, excavation, construction and construction related activities, facility closures including UST/AST removal and decommissioning.
Have working knowledge of Regulatory and Health & Safety compliance including OSHA, DOT, DEP and EPA regulations.
Responsibilities include interaction and management of vendors, subcontractors and suppliers including negotiating pricing.
Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
Communicate and interact with company management and ownership including participation in project turnovers and daily organizational calls.
Duties also include successful performance and completion of any company related tasks.
Maintain interface with all the client'sdepartments.
Develop, understand, practice and enforce company SOP's, policies and procedures including H&S practices and procedures.
Possess competent computer skills along with strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Must be a strong leader and have the ability to be a problem solver. At all times represent the client in a professional manner.
A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player is essential.
All duties performed are to be conducted with safety as the top priority.
Compensation package
Salary
Eligible for Company Performance Bonus

Per Diem: $50/night for overnight travel

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
