Our client, a financial services firm in Blue Bell, is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for phone coverage, stocking kitchens, supply rooms, and copiers and working with vendors on orders, processing and managing accounts. This role will also work with department leaders as needed to assist in administrative responsibilities and projects. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Answer and direct phone calls
Serve as second-in-command on receptionist duties
Responsible for office supply management including maintaining proper inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies within prescribed guidelines and budgets, verifying receipt of supplies
Ensure optimal operation of office equipment
Ensure office suite is operating at its best: check for lights out, spot cleaning needs, cleanliness of conference rooms and office in general, stock kitchens and supply rooms
Work with approved vendors on ordering, processing, and managing accounts
Provide back up for other admin team members as required
Participate in event support during company events as required
Provide support to Office Manager as directed
Provide information to all company professionals as directed by Office Manager by researching issues, answering questions and requests
Other projects as assigned ?

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
3 years of experience in a corporate environment
Proficient with MS Office applications; must be skilled with MS Outlook
Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
Professional manner and appearance mandatory
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong writing and editing skills
Highly organized
Detail-oriented
Ability to multitaskEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
